Post-Election Audit Information
The post-election audit will be held Friday, November 7, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Finney County Election Office at 311 N. 9th Street, Garden City, Kansas. Precinct(s) to be audited will be selected randomly at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the same location.
La auditoría posterior de las elecciones se llevará a cabo el viernes 7 de noviembre de 2025 a las 9:00 a.m. en la Oficina de Elecciones del Condado de Finney ubicada en 311 N. 9th Street, Garden City, Kansas. Canvass Information
The Board of County Canvassers will convene to canvass election results on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. in the Commission Chambers within the Finney County Administrative Center, 311 N. 9th Street, Garden City.

REFERENDUM
Shall the following be adopted?
Shall Finney County, Kansas, be authorized to: (1) issue sales tax/general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $87,500,000 to pay the costs to (a) construct, furnish and equip improvements and renovations to the County’s jail facility and law enforcement center; (b) pay for and make all other necessary improvements and temporary relocations related thereto; and (c) pay costs of issuance for any bonds issued by the County for such projects (the “Project”); and (2) impose a one-half percent (0.5%) countywide retailers’ sales tax (the “Sales Tax”) to pay all or a portion of the costs of the Project, including debt service requirements on the bonds issued to finance or refinance such Project, with the collection of the Sales Tax to commence on April 1, 2026, or as soon thereafter as permitted by law, and the Sales Tax shall terminate when all costs associated with the financing of the Project, including the repayment of any bonds issued to pay such costs, shall have been paid; all pursuant to the authority of K.S.A. 12-187 et seq., as amended? Pursuant to law, the County will retain the Sales Tax revenue in its entirety.

¿Deberá autorizarse al condado de Finney, Kansas, a: (1) emitir bonos de obligación general/impuesto sobre ventas por una cantidad que no exceda de $87,500,000 para cubrir los costos de: (a) construir, amueblar y actualizar el equipo y renovación a las instalaciones de la cárcel del Condado y el Centro de Administración de la Ley; (b) pagar y realizar todas las de más actualizaciones necesarias y reubicaciones temporales relacionado con lo mismo; y (c) pagar los costos de emisión de cualquier bono que el Condado emita para dichos proyectos (el “Proyecto”); y (2) imponer un impuesto sobre ventas al por menor en todo el Condado del medio por ciento (0.5%) (el “Impuesto Sobre Ventas”) para pagar total o parcialmente los costos del Proyecto, incluyendo los requisitos de servicio de la deuda de los bonos emitidos para financiar o refinanciar dicho Proyecto, con la colección del Impuesto Sobre Ventas comenzará el 1 de Abril de 2026, o tan pronto como lo permita la ley, y el Impuesto Sobre Ventas terminará cuando se hayan pagado todos los costos asociados con el financiamiento del proyecto, incluyendo el reembolso de cualquier bono emitido para pagar dichos costos; todo conforme a la autoridad de K.S.A. 12-187 y siguientes, según sus enmiendas?
