Advance Voting

Advance Voting by Mail

Any registered voter may receive an advance ballot by request. Advance Voting by Mail Applications must be received by the Finney County Clerk's Office before 5 p.m. on the Friday prior to the election. An application is good for one election. You must apply each election unless you have applied for permanent advance voting status.

Permanent Advance Voting

You may request an application for Permanent Advance Ballot. You must be disabled or otherwise unable to vote at the polls on a permanent basis. 

Submitting Your Advance/Permanent Advance Ballot

  • By mail:  All ballots returned via U.S. Mail must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received no later than three days after the election 
  • In-person prior to election day:  Hand-deliver your ballot to the County Clerk's Office Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
  • In-person on election day:  Hand-deliver your ballot to the County Clerk's Office or any Polling Location within Finney County between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

In-Person Advance Voting

Any registered voter may vote early in person in the County Clerk's Office. Advanced voting begins 20 days prior to the election and takes place during normal business hours. Advanced voting is available until noon the day prior to an election.

Military or Overseas Voting

Military personnel stationed within the United States or overseas may request a ballot be mailed to them. Non military Kansas Citizens visitng oversees may also request a ballot.
