Kelly E. Munyan, Director of Human Resources


Kelly Munyan is a New Jersey native who grew up in Garden City, Kansas, and was an aspiring Nurse Paramedic. Life has a funny way of working out as she was just beginning her college career she was offered an opportunity to process payroll and manage the office of a private business. Kelly changed her schooling trajectory, which ultimately led her into a now 25-year career in payroll and the last 10 years having added benefit management and all things Human Resources.

Having found a new love in the field of Human Resources, Kelly went back to school to further her education. She has since completed a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources.

Kelly has been employed with Finney County since March 2012 and was promoted to the Director of Human Resources position in January 2021. 

"Working in the public sector has been a change; however, it is gratifying." says Kelly, "Being able to interact with and advocate for all County staff is my motivation and the reason I love my job and enjoy coming to work every day! I have many goals for Finney County employees, and I am here for the long haul to see them all through!"
