The $250,000.00 allocation to the Program has been dedicated to applications that have were received February 1 - 21. No additional funding available at this time.

Maximum Award:

$10,000.00 per Applicant

WHY SHOULD I APPLY TO HOUSEHOLD EMERGENCY RELIEF PROGRAM IF NO FUNDING IS AVAILABLE?

Applying to the Program while no funding is available places your application on standby status. This means that if funding is available in the future your application will be considered in the order in which it was received.

IS THERE OTHER EMERGENCY ASSITANCE AVAILABLE FOR RENTERS IN KANSAS?

The State of Kansas is launching the Kansas Emergency Rental Assistance (KERA) program in March

This program will provide rental assistance and more information can be found via the webpagehttps://kshousingcorp.org/emergency-rental-assistance

WHAT IS THE HOUSEHOLD EMERGENCY RELIEF PROGRAM?

This program seeks to alleviate financial pressure and provide greater economic security to residents of Finney County experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19 by:

  • Reducing the rent and utility burden on rental households and prevent homelessnes for households impacted by COVID-19

  • Mitigating the risk of homeowners foreclosing on their homes due to financial hardship cause by COVID-19
