The Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) exists to develop resilient communities. Each county in Kansas is required to have a Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), comprised of emergency response agencies, hospitals, industries, and community groups.

Public Transportation
City-Link offers transportation to 65 stops around Garden City. Demand Response provides rides to those who live outside of Garden City limits, in Finney County. The Mini Bus offers door-to-door services to the elderly and/or disabled. Ride with Finney County Transit, where our transportation is your destination.
