Welcome!
Our office is located in the Finney County Administrative Center in Garden City, KS. The position of the County Clerk is an elected position with a term of four years and is Secretary to the Board of County Commissioners.
Services Provided
- Assists with the County budget
- Responsible for sending budgets of all taxing entities to the State to set the mill levies
- Handles Kansas Homestead Claims and tax refunds on food sales - Kansas Department of Revenue
- Handles Real Estate Ownership transfers for real estate taxes
- Coordinates payroll and benefits for all County employees
- Handles beer licensing for clubs and restaurants located outside city limits
