Area Mental Health Services
Area Mental Health (AMH) has two case managers that share office space with Youth Services. These case managers are available for case management services as well as offering additional programming. This collaboration allows youth to receive multiple services while requiring less travel. AMH offers Anger Management, Girls / Boys Group, and Social Responsibility Training (SRT).
This program works with low risk offenders. It is developed to work with youth on dealing with everyday issues and developing appropriate coping mechanisms.
Girls Group / Boys Group
This group gives girls / boys an opportunity to discuss adolescent issues such as peer pressure, family issues, stress, self-esteem, healthy and unhealthy relationships, drugs, gangs, bullying (Cyber bullying), and the Juvenile Justice System.
Social Responsibility Training (SRT)
This program impacts how students view themselves, their relationships and their decisions about right and wrong. The program is designed to develop enduring foundation of character. SRT helps students build self-respect, develop great concern for others and lean the rewards that come from making positive choices.
