Juvenile Intensive Supervision
Juvenile Intensive Supervision offers probation services to serious, chronic, and violent offenders assigned by the District Court and youth on probation from other States who reside within District 25. Juvenile Intensive Supervision offers an alternative to Juvenile Correctional Facility placement and allows the offender the opportunity to stay within their home communities while they pay restitution to the victim, complete treatment, their education, and gain or maintain employment.
To successfully complete Intensive Supervision, the juvenile offender must:
- Live a law abiding lifestyle with no new law violations for three months prior to release
- Stay drug free
- Obtain their education or actively participate in an educational program
- Gain or maintain employment
- Pay Restitution to their victim
