The Finney County Clerk's office is located in the Finney County Administrative Center in Garden City, Kansas. The position of the County Clerk is an elected position with a term of four years. The duties of the County Clerk include:

• Assist with the County budget. Responsible for sending budgets of all taxing entities to the State and set the mill levies.
• Fish and Game Licensing and Permits
• Kansas Homestead Claim and Food Sales Tax Refund
• Beer Licensing for clubs and restaurants located outside city limits.
• Real Estate Ownership transfers for real estate taxes.
• Payroll and benefits coordination for county employees.

In addition to the duties listed above, the County Clerk also serves as the County Election Officer. The election officer handles all elections, voter registration, and advance ballots.
