Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Outreach services, assessment and treatment, educational services.

Communicable Diseases

Preventive services aimed at locating the source of communicable diseases. To reduce reoccurrence or spreading of such diseases in the community. Reportable disease center for Finney County.

Maternal and Infant Program
Prenatal nursing and social work assessment and counseling, referral and assistance with accessing medical care. Education about pregnancy, labor, deliver and newborn care. Call for an appointment.

Healthy Start Program
Visits made to expectant and new mothers to provide support and information about resources available to them in the community. Visits may be in the hospital or the home.

Children's Health Services

  5. Sports Physicals

General Health Services

Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

  1. Provide supplemental foods/formula
  2. Assist with nutrition education
  3. Promote healthy participants

Tuberculosis Control Program

Testing, medication supply, case finding, contact follow-up and education. Direct Observed Therapy.

Outreach activities targeting population at increased risk for TB. Educational and preventive services in Finney County.

Child Care Licensing

Evaluation visits of Day Care Homes, Center and Preschools.

Hours:

Monday through Thursday: 8:00a.m. to 6:00p.m., Friday:8:00a.m. to 12:00 noon, except for the first Friday of the month when our office is closed.

Most services are on a walk-in basis. Appointments are required for Maternal and Infant, Kan-Be-Healthy Screening, and Family Planning Exams.

Fees:

Fees vary depending on the service, Family Planning and Maternal and Infant are based on a sliding fee scale. Medicaid and insurance will be billed for covered services. No one is refused service because of an inability to pay.
